There are dozens of gift certificate templates over at Canva. They can be for holidays, birthdays, employees, special treats, hotel stays, massages, photoshoots, just about anything you can think of. It's easy to find a certificate, you can search by keyword or browse categories to find the right one. Within Canva you can fully customize the images, colors, and text before printing off or digitally sending these gift certificates. You're also able to create one from scratch if you want. That means you get to make all the decisions about the design from the beginning. Some of the gift certificates here contain images that you do have to pay for in Canva. You can replace these images with free ones or look for ones marked as free.

Creative Certificates

You can find around 20 other gift certificate Word templates at Creative Certificates. They each have unique colors and designs that make them suitable in many different contexts. You can't change the designs very much here, but you can change all of the text before printing. Something unique about this website is that you don't have to download the MS Word file to edit the certificate because there's an online editor where you can make changes and then print the certificate or download it as an image or PDF. Just use the blue buttons underneath the design you like. However, you can still download the DOCX file if you want to make the changes in a word processor program.

Word Templates

WordTemplates.org has a collection of over 10 templates. Other than basic ones that can be used for any occasion, there are ones designed specifically for a cash sum, employee, and a restaurant gift certificate, all of unique designs and colors. The templates are in the DOT and DOTX formats. They download in a ZIP archive, so you'll need to open that first.

Vertex42 has a Christmas, birthday, formal, and blank/basic gift certificate template available for download. There aren't a ton of options here but they're nice straightforward gift certificate templates that would work great for a small business. Each template has three gift certificates so you can edit three at once before printing them off. All of these templates are in the popular DOCX format but are also available in ODT for use in OpenOffice.
